Job summary

Good Samaritan Society seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The RN will care for residents across all phases of health needs, coordinate care, assess residents, educate families, and perform nursing interventions. May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care and education.
• Perform resident assessments and outcome planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for care planning.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff.
