Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society provides individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care in collaboration with residents, families and other health professionals.

This role may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, and ensuring safe, reliable care while adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
