Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical unit, including assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and education.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data.
• Follow guidelines established by the nursing organization.
• Assist leadership in quality improvement projects.
