Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).

• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, ensuring safety and quality of care.
• Practice within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable state rules and professional codes.
