Job summary

Cura of Le Sueur is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our compassionate care team and deliver hands‑on patient care according to individualized care plans.

You’ll assess residents, administer medications, document care, coordinate with CNAs, providers and families, and help admit, transfer, and discharge residents. We welcome both experienced RNs and new graduates to apply.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize resident needs and respond to changes in condition.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete required electronic documentation.
• Skilled nursing/long‑term care/post‑acute care experience preferred but not required.
• New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands‑on nursing care to residents based on care plans.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to providers and ensure follow‑up.
• Coordinate resident care with CNAs, LPNs, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide direction and support to nursing assistants.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
