Job summary

Agape’s Way in Florida is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care in a home and group home setting for medically complex residents.

The RN will work with the DON and clinical team to follow physician orders, assess residents, administer medications, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards while promoting independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• ADN or higher degree required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred in home health, long-term care, or developmental disability services.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments at start of shifts and as needed.
• Monitor residents' physical, emotional, and psychological health status.
• Identify changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly.
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, support coordinators, and nursing staff.
• Administer medications safely and accurately per the seven rights.
• Document thoroughly and maintain MARs.
• Educate residents and caregivers on treatments and care recommendations.
• Respond to medical emergencies and ensure safety and readiness.

Skills

Active RN license in Florida

Associate Degree in Nursing or higher

1 year nursing experience preferred

HIPAA knowledge

OSHA knowledge

Strong clinical assessment
