Job summary

Agape’s Way in Florida is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care in home and group home settings for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will collaborate with a DON and an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, individualized care aligned with physician orders and care plans.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, participate in care planning, administer medications, advocate for residents, and maintain compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Florida.
• ADN or higher required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred, ideally in home health, long-term care, or developmental disability services.
• Experience working with medically complex residents preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations related to home and community-based care.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments at the beginning of shifts and as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate residents' physical, emotional, and psychological health status.
• Identify changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
• Monitor chronic conditions and support optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate vital signs and observations in records.
