Job summary

Agape’s Way in Florida seeks compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to provide high-quality care in home and group home settings for residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will monitor health, administer medications, support daily living activities, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and physicians under physician orders and individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Florida.
• Nursing diploma or associate degree.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred in home health, long-term care, or developmental disability services.
• Experience working with medically complex residents preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel between assigned locations and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per individualized care plans and physician orders.
• Monitor health status and document vital signs and observations.
• Administer medications safely following the seven rights of medication administration.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support activities of daily living and resident comfort while preserving dignity.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ensure safety and respond promptly to emergencies.
