Job summary

Alden Terrace of McHenry Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking registered or licensed practical nurses to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants across shifts, ensuring high-quality care in a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois or Wisconsin.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Demonstrates interest and/or knowledge in geriatric care.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise day-to-day nursing activities.
• Develop and implement plans of care for residents.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state and local standards and facility policies.
• Attend care plan conferences and participate in continuing education.
• Direct and mentor nursing staff to ensure quality care and proper procedures.
• Coordinate medication administration and treatment orders as directed.
