Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes nursing process, evidence‑based practice, and professional accountability in a demanding hospital setting.

Essential functions include comprehensive assessments, care planning with patient and family involvement, delegation and coordination of care, and ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes. A BSN is preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
• RNs with <12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire date.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess: performs comprehensive assessments of physical, social, and psychological status and information from the team.
• Plan: develops individualized care plans with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement: directs care team, coordinates and manages resources per plan and licensure.
• Evaluate: reviews outcomes, revises plan, and reassesses as needed.
• Professionalism: upholds legal/ethical standards, thorough documentation and compliance.
