Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days of start.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess the physical, social, and psychological status of patients and gather information from the care team.
• Plan individualized care using assessment data and involve patient, family, and team in the plan.
• Implement care by directing the interdisciplinary team and coordinating time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate patient response and revise the care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, ethical standards, compliant documentation, and regulatory adherence.
