Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to support residents in Washington. The RT will work with nursing and therapy staff to deliver treatments, monitor status, and educate families and staff on respiratory care.

This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care in a post-acute/long-term setting. Requirements include WA RCP license, accredited respiratory therapy program (CRT/RRT preferred), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• WA license/certification as RCP required.
• CRT or RRT certification preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with the care team.
• Compassionate, dependable and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders (nebulizers, suctioning, oxygen, etc.).
• Assess and monitor residents' respiratory status and report changes promptly.
• Document treatments, interventions and resident responses accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy to create individualized care plans.
• Educate residents, families and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment.
• Ensure respiratory therapy equipment is cleaned, maintained and functional.
