Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and sanitation principles.
• Basic computer skills and ability to log records such as mileage and trips.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to and from activities/appointments for residents as scheduled.
• Pickup and deliver items as directed to support community needs.
• Assist residents on and off the vehicle to ensure safety using proper equipment.
• Operate mechanical lift for wheelchair-bound residents when required.
• Perform daily inspection and basic maintenance of the community vehicle and keep it clean.
• Record trips, mileage, and expenses in the vehicle log and report incidents as needed.
