Job summary

Silverton Health and Rehabilitation of Cascadia is seeking a Transport Van Driver to ensure the safe and timely transport of residents to appointments while delivering excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for transporting residents, assisting in and out of the van, maintaining trip records, conducting vehicle checks, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. The role supports mobility needs and interacts with residents, staff, and medical professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working with elderly individuals preferred.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and medical professionals.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments in a timely and safe manner
• Assist residents in and out of the van and ensure their safety
• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Perform regular vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to our residents
• Maintain a clean and organized van
