Job summary

Goldwater Care in Toluca, IL seeks a Transportation Driver to safely move patients to hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers and homes. You will deliver courteous transport and help residents board, buckle in, and manage mobility aids.

Responsibilities include vehicle upkeep, pre/post-trip checks, accurate logs, compliance with safety and infection control, GPS and radio operation, and clear communication with facility staff.

Qualifications

• CNA certification (state laws) preferred.
• Active Illinois driver’s license required.
• Class C license with passenger endorsement or Class E license depending on vehicle size.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to hospitals, medical offices, dialysis centers and private residences.
• Provide high level of customer service during transportation.
• Assist residents with boarding, seating, belts, and mobility aids.
• Maintain safety of residents on the vehicle and during entry/exit of buildings.
• Perform vehicle upkeep and preventative maintenance checks.
• Complete daily vehicle logs and follow safety, infection control, and reporting procedures.
