Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will help with food prep, ensure meals meet dietary needs, and provide friendly, high-quality service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities include sanitation, following safety guidelines, and assisting with daily duties as assigned. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior food service experience helpful but not required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, push 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required per state/county law
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
