Job summary

Meadow Lane Assisted Living & Memory Care in Michigan is seeking a compassionate team member to provide comfort, safety and daily living assistance to residents. Responsibilities include administering medications per physician orders, updating records, and coordinating with the Care Coordinator to meet individual care plans.

This role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to follow physician orders and document care accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Update eMAR with incoming physician orders for accuracy.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Respond to call lights, doors, and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe residents and report changes to Care Coordinator/Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting and reporting as required.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Participate in training new employees as requested.
• Maintain clean/disinfected rooms and common areas.
• Assist with meal setup and cleanup as needed.
• Support life enrichment activities and promote resident wellbeing.
