Job summary

The Magnolia at Oxford Commons is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Assistant to provide compassionate physical and psychosocial care to our residents in a supportive, family-like community in Oxford, Mississippi.

Eligible candidates will assist with daily living activities, follow safety and infection control procedures, and report changes to the Wellness Director. This is a full-time position with benefits, including daily pay and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be in good physical health and able to lift 40 pounds.
• Completion of the Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and psychosocial care to residents while promoting dignity and individuality.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Communicate professionally with residents and families; report changes to Wellness Director.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices; follow CDC/OSHA guidelines.
• Document services rendered and operate basic medical equipment and office devices.
• Assist with resident transportation and personal correspondence/phone use.
• Respond to emergencies promptly and coordinate with staff as needed.
