Visiting Angels in Oxford, MS is urgently hiring a Caregiver to support seniors at home in Northeast Mississippi. You will assist with medication, mobility, personal care, meals, and light housekeeping, while providing companionship and safety. We offer flexible shifts, paid training, and growth opportunities in a supportive team environment.

Starting pay is $12/hr based on experience. Benefits include PTO, PPE, holiday pay, weekly pay, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about serving others and providing compassionate home care.
• Knowledge of emergency response and basic first aid.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and meal preparation with dietary considerations.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong ethics and reliability.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Comfort with assisting clients in mobility and daily activities.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients when able.
• Do client shopping or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
