Job summary

Vitality Living in Sunset Corners, FL is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to help residents with daily activities, follow service plans, and support dignity and choice in daily life.

You will assist with simple treatments, participate in onboarding and training, report concerns to the supervisor, and collaborate with the Wellness Director to keep residents engaged and safe.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with simple treatments as indicated in service plans.
• Assist residents with emotional health and behavioral issues per plans.
• Perform other services for residents (e.g., laundry and pet care).
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current needs.
• Observe and report resident problems to the supervisor or on-duty staff.
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company and perform other duties as assigned.
