Job summary

The SR Companies is seeking a dedicated housekeeping staff member to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our Florida community. You will perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, while interacting with residents and families with empathy and respect.

Strong attention to safety, proper body mechanics, and adherence to HIPAA standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Follows established cleaning schedule and completes daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas.
• Performs deep cleaning of resident rooms as scheduled.
• Cleans administrative offices, bathrooms, carpets and floors as requested.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, families, visitors and associates.
• Assists residents and responds to requests promptly and courteously with empathy and respect.
• Wears appropriate dress and adheres to safety and HIPAA guidelines.
