Job summary

York Operations LLC is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA in Yorktown, VA to provide quality daily living support for residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, housekeeping, and safety, while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork with the nursing staff.

The role requires HS diploma, good communication, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable within 60 days of hire. Flexible weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or able to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and rooms.
• Respond promptly to calls and emergencies; remain calm during crises.
• Plan and support activity programs; ensure confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with move-ins and transfers; support dining and events.
