Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner for residents who call The Bristal home.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, guiding residents to meals and activities, and supporting their overall wellbeing, under supervision of the Wellness team. English literacy is required; prior geriatric care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NY-certified nursing assistant or equivalent required.
• Experience assisting residents with ADLs preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Geriatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing of residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to instructions from supervisers.
