Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living seeks compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care for residents with dignity and respect. You will assist with ADLs, ensure safety, and be a familiar, friendly presence in daily activities, meals, and wellness programs.

Strong candidates will have CNA or equivalent certification, experience with geriatrics, and the ability to work one weekend shift per week as part of a full-time schedule. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent required.
Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia preferred.
Must be able to speak and read English.
Experience with geriatric population preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.
Basic understanding of dementia; patience and professionalism.
Reliable, caring and gentle demeanor.
Respect for the elderly; stay calm at all times.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
Support residents in achieving physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being.
Assist in the Wellness area to ensure safety and wellbeing of residents.
Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to instructions of supervisor and Director of Wellness.
