Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Bethpage, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to enrich residents' daily lives with respectful, dignified care. In this full-time role, you will assist with Activities of Daily Living, escort residents to meals and activities, and support their physical and psycho-social well-being under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide credential.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish routines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Follow policies and work under Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
