Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Jericho, NY is seeking compassionate Resident Service Assistants/Home Health Aides to provide hands-on care with dignity. You’ll be a friendly, familiar face, supporting residents with daily living activities and helping them enjoy daily life.

This full-time role includes weekend shifts, adherence to care plans, and collaboration with licensed staff to ensure safety and wellbeing. Previous experience with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus; English literacy required.

Qualifications

Must have CNA, PCA or HHA certification.
Experience assisting residents with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
Must be able to speak and read in English.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
Support residents to achieve their highest physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
