Job summary

Avera Eureka Health Care Center is seeking a Resident Assistant to support residents with daily living activities according to care plans. You will perform scheduled tasks and help maintain a sanitary, orderly environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, medications, housekeeping, and laundry while respecting residents' belongings and privacy. You will report changes, prepare rooms for admissions, and support activities, ensuring a compassionate, safe care

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including meals, medications, housekeeping, and laundry.
• Respect residents' personal property and dignity.
• Report any changes in residents' condition or behavior.
• Answer call lights and anticipate needs; round frequently.
• Prepare rooms and belongings for admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Maintain clean and organized environments in resident rooms and common areas.
• Assist with or direct activities and support dining room setup and service.
