Job summary
Primrose Retirement Communities in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities, ranging from hygiene to meal services. The RA supports the nursing team and helps create a safe, compassionate, and engaging living environment.
The role emphasizes teamwork, weekend/holiday shifts, and CPR/First Aid certification. Availability for full-time or part-time hours, with days or evenings shifts, and benefits including PTO, insurance
Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and dementias preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to work as a team and flexibility for weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, and mobility.
- Support meal services and social-recreational activities for residents.
- Collaborate with nursing and other staff to ensure resident well-being and safety.
