Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking a Resident Assistant to provide basic care and assist residents with daily living activities in a compassionate, supportive environment.

The RA will assist with hygiene, dressing, meals, housekeeping, and social activities, and will work with the nursing team to promote residents' physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being while adhering to state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Tested Nursing Assistant per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, meals, and social activities.
• Support nursing and other staff to ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care.
• Collaborate with residents and families to promote well-being and safety.
