Qualifications

• Must be CNA-licensed and registered in Iowa.
• Medication Manager course within 30 days of hire is required.
• Direct Care Worker Registry registration in Iowa is required.

Responsibilities

• Document nursing care after assisting a resident per standards.
• Report changes in resident condition to RN/LPN on duty.
• Perform and chart ADLs as per care plan.
• Administer medications under RN/LPN direction.
• Treat residents with respect and individuality.
• Assist with nutrition and hydration and dining support.
• Keep resident rooms clean and organized.
• Demonstrate commitment to Person-Directed Care philosophy.
