Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking chaplains to deliver spiritual care to employees and their families remotely across client sites. You will provide pastoral support, visit workplaces weekly, and offer guidance during crises, grief, and major life events.

A strong faith-based approach and ability to work across diverse communities are essential. Responsibilities include memorial services, client notifications during tragedies, and coordinating follow-up support while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, interfaith setting.
• Excellent listening and communication with clients and families.
• Diplomacy and courtesy when dealing with diverse groups.
• Emotional stability to cope with suffering and emergencies.
• Proficiency with Google Suites and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites weekly to build relationships and provide care.
• Provide confidential pastoral conversations for employees and families.
• Conduct or assist with memorials/funerals and memorial follow-ups.
• Assist in post-termination care and client notifications of death or tragedy.
• Collect and share resources to aid employees with life issues.
