DHR Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift on BV Med Surg 3rd Floor in Brownsville, TX. The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support the unit’s smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current registered nurse license in the State of Texas.
• ACLS required after 3 months of hire.
• Cross training to like areas.
• Willingness to be trained for charge nurse.
• Willingness to become a preceptor after two years of nursing experience.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English – verbal and written.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care through the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
• Administer medications and therapies safely.
• Document care accurately and maintain records.
• Support unit operations and participate in committee activities.
