Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current registered nurse license in good standing in the State of Texas.
• ACLS required within 3 months of hire.
• NRP certification within six months of hire for Women’s Hospital employees.
• 1–2 years of progressive nursing experience, preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Promotes effective and efficient patient care management.
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologist, and other personnel as needed.
• Observe patient for changes in condition.
• Ensure medications are administered and charted per policy.
• Record patient responses to medications and report errors.
• Coordinate with care teams for schedule and patient flow.
