Responsibilities

• Receives and greets callers/visitors, provides information, and directs to appropriate person or area.
• Answers telephone, determines nature of call, and directs caller to appropriate individual or department.
• Takes and delivers messages as needed.
• Maintains a current file or listing of residents by room number and name, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extension, key personnel and others as assigned.
• Receives requests from within the facility/campus and locates personnel via telephone or paging system.
• Screens and immediately reports suspicious persons/information to supervisor or administrator.
• Types memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Maintains office supplies and office supply area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Consistently demonstrates excellent customer service.
• Efficiently receives mail and directs it to the correct individual in an accurate and timely manner.
• Prepares outgoing mail as requested.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Executive Director/Administrator and/or Office Manager.
