Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at Wellstar performs a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging procedures for patients of all ages, under the supervision of a Radiologist or Manager. You will apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure while ensuring image quality and accurate patient identification.

You will contribute to exceptional patient-centered care, assist Radiologists, and adhere to department standards and Wellstar policies. This role supports a premier health system in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• BLS Certification (Instructor or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging exams and ensures image quality and proper patient identification.
• Assists Radiologist with procedures and adheres to department protocols and ALARA principles.
• Provides optimal patient care and ensures patient safety during procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and hand hygiene policies.
• Complies with Wellstar Health System policies and code of conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.
