Job summary

Silver Birch Living in Michigan City is seeking a Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to join the Clinical Team and assist residents with medications, personal care, and daily activities. You’ll help ensure residents feel cared for, respected, and supported every day.

You will document care in the electronic health record, observe changes, and communicate with the Wellness Nurse. A high school diploma or GED and a current QMA certification are required, with insulin certification preferred or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current QMA certification in good standing.
• Experience in healthcare or senior living is helpful.
• Insulin certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow individualized care plans and document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care needs including ADLs.
• Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments per plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to Wellness Nurse and clinical team.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service to residents, families, and team members.
• Support overall clinical operations with the Wellness team.
