Job summary

Sequoia Transitional Care in Porterville, CA is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and help residents regain strength, mobility and independence.

This full-time position offers competitive pay ($40-45/hr DOE) and a supportive, resident-centered environment with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation accuracy, and ongoing

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare preferred.
• Strong computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation per policies and state regulations.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment following infection control and equipment protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to help residents reach goals.
• Educate residents and families on home exercise programs and safety.
