Job summary

Cypress Grove Post Acute, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Jackson, TN, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant. You will assist licensed physical therapists, help patients regain mobility, and support recovery with hands-on care and progress monitoring.

The PTA will educate patients and families, maintain clean treatment spaces, and document progress to support optimal outcomes in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• ASsociate degree in PTA from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Active Tennessee PTA license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area and sanitize equipment.
