Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Tennessee PTA license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 1–2 years PTA experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehab, or similar.
• Strong ability to follow established treatment plans under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring equipment is sanitized.
