Position Overview:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Cypress Grove Post Acute, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. You will work closely with patients to provide hands‑on care, monitor their progress, and adjust treatment techniques as necessary. Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Active Tennessee PTA license in good standing.
• Valid CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a PTA, preferably in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar setting.
• Strong ability to follow established treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
