Job summary

OrthoArkansas is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient therapy team. You will implement treatment plans under licensed physical therapists to help patients regain movement, function, and overall well-being.

You will document sessions using Athena software, maintain a clean, safe clinic, and collaborate with therapists, staff, and patients to support recovery. Prior PTA program completion and Arkansas licensure are required; 0–6 months of experience is acceptable.

Qualifications

Must have completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
An associate degree or equivalent training in a related field is required.
0–6 months of related experience or training is acceptable.
Arkansas PTA licensure is required by the Arkansas Physical Therapy Board.

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans under licensed physical therapists' guidance to help patients regain movement and function.
Document treatment sessions precisely using Athena software in compliance with regulations.
Maintain clinic cleanliness, organization, and safe environment for therapy.
Collaborate with administrative and medical staff and supervise therapy technicians as needed.
Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA regulations and company policies to ensure high-quality care.
