Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to carry out evidence-based treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The successful candidate will provide patient-centered care, document progress, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a long-term care setting in Miami, FL.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program and hold a valid Florida PTA license/registration.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold a valid FL PTA license/registration.
• Provide treatment under supervision of Physical Therapist
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred
• Strong documentation and timely weekly progress notes

Responsibilities

• Carry out prescribed PTA treatments under supervision.
• Provide patient-centered care and report patient progress.
• Document progress weekly per facility policy.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; adhere to shift hours.
