Qualifications

• Current California PTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience in SNF, post-acute care, rehab, LTC, or acute care preferred.
• Knowledge of rehab principles, therapeutic exercise, and mobility training.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve strength and mobility.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, transfers, gait training.
• Monitor progress and communicate outcomes to supervising PT.
• Educate residents and families on exercises and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory requirements.
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning.
• Ensure a safe and positive therapy experience for residents.
