Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, improving mobility and independence.

You will work under physician orders and the plan of care, participate in specialty programs like Balance and Fall Prevention, and collaborate with a care team to educate families. A valid state license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seatbelts at all times while driving.
• Must have dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Must be currently licensed in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients with physical impairments to improve mobility and daily living activities.
• Provide skilled care to clients per physician orders and care plan.
• Incorporate specialty programs (Balance and Fall Prevention, Spine Safety, Total Hip/Knee/Shoulder programs).
• Educate families and other health team members to support patient independence.
