Qualifications

• Ability to provide patient care under supervision of licensed staff and/or Lead CNA; ability to follow instructions and report observations to licensed nurse in timely manner; skills in providing assistance to patients in activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) per treatment plan.
• Observe, report, document changes in patient status timely.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions per unit routines and patient guidelines.
• Escort patients to departments, meals, and outings per protocols.
• Perform assignments according to policy and procedures.
• Provide constant supportive observation as assigned.
• Participate in therapeutic activities and groups.
• Contribute to Recovery Model-based care.
