World Relief is seeking a Program Assistant for Upstate SC to support Economic Empowerment programs, including Matching Grant, RSS Employment, Adult Education, and Walk-In Services. In this entry-level role, you will help clients secure employment, improve English skills, and connect with community resources while working with program specialists and the manager to achieve self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith and commitment to World Relief's mission.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; able to pass MVR.
• Experience in social services and case management is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Assist Employment Specialists with client care and case management for new arrivals and established clients.
• Help clients build resumes, complete job applications, and prepare for interviews.
• Support job placements through application assistance, interview preparation, and transportation as needed.
• Help facilitate job-readiness classes.
• Conduct 6-month, 12-month, and 180-day follow-ups to support job retention and program outcomes.
• Refer clients to community ESL providers and follow up to encourage attendance.
• Assist Walk-In Services by welcoming clients and providing referrals.
• Maintain accurate client files and data entry across programs.
