Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Tenth grade education is required.

• One year experience in a direct food service environment as a cook or in a service position preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, and presentation a plus.
• POS and diet management software proficiency a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves all products and meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensures timely meal service while maintaining quality and sanitary standards.
• Stocks and maintains food at line stations for smooth service.
• Reviews production for quantities to estimate portions.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and equipment.
• Assists in training cooking staff as directed.
