Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a skilled cook to prepare meals in compliance with menus, recipes, and quality standards. You will ensure portions are accurate and meals are appetizing, on time, and visually appealing.

You will assist with catering and events, support the culinary team, and help maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas. The role requires at least a high school diploma and three years of cooking experience, with POS and diet software familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years quantity and/or restaurant-style cooking experience required.
• Knowledge of cooking methods, catering trends, quality, sanitation and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals following menus and recipes to ensure quality and appearance.
• Maintain inventory, stock line stations, and manage portions.
• Assist with catering needs and special events.
• Support department leadership in coaching cooking staff.
• Take responsibility for food production operations in supervisor's absence.
