Job summary

Rockport Healthcare Services seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist and to support the rehabilitation team in a geriatric setting.

You will document treatments, communicate progress, and educate patients and families while contributing to a positive facility culture and safety practices. AAS in PTA and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Physical Therapy treatment techniques.
• Understanding the principles of physical modalities used in Physical Therapy.
• Knowledge of prosthetic devices, ambulatory aids, assistive and resistive devices, and training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with all types and levels of patients.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
