Panoramic Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to verify patient identity, explain procedures, and obtain blood specimens by venipuncture or finger stick. You will ensure specimen integrity and follow aseptic techniques while adhering to safety standards.

The role involves labeling samples, maintaining records, and assisting with transfusions as needed, with collaboration under supervising physicians.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional phlebotomy certification required from a recognized program.
• Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
• Experience with effective venipuncture techniques.
• Ability to accurately identify patients using ID, documents, or other means.
• Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood and handling samples.
• Ability to use computers to enter information.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Identify patients and their personal information.
• Arrange daily activities based on urgency of requests for fluid samples.
• Determine venipuncture method based on patient age/health.
• Draw blood using sterilized needles and vials.
• Label samples correctly and send for testing.
• Maintain specimen quality and records of tests.
• Adhere to health and safety standards while working.
• Assist with blood transfusions when needed.
